I''m pretty much an independent free-spirit - unconventional in many ways, I try not to follow the pack. I enjoy a glass or two of red wine over a home-cooked meal (Vegetarian, but eat fish. I know my way around the kitchen, and can rustle up a healthy meal), and I try to be grounded in Mother Earth and the beauty of nature in all its many forms. I''m not into organised religion, but I''m spiritually aware. Initially shy, I can find the confidence needed when the situation demands it. I''m not loud, agressive or a bully - just very gentle (a gentle giant!), loving, caring, generous and easy-going.
I''m in touch with my feminine side, and make no apologies for it. Artistic and creative, I paint, illustrate and sometimes create my own music - music for the body and soul. I enjoy being immersed in the great outdoors, to be buffeted in the wind high on the moors, or taking a relaxing stroll along towpaths (I live on the edge of the wonderful Pennines and my village has a canal adjacent to it). The sea is very special to me, as is being close to nature and animals. I strive to be ethically aware and try and eat organically whenever possible.
A relationship based on trust, tolerance, honesty and mutual co-operation and understanding is important to me. Having a ''one-night stand'' has never appealed to me. I would rather wait until that special person enters my life and we can embark on a journey together - exploring the possibilities of what lies ahead.
If any of this resonates, then I''d love to hear from you.
