Looking for a companion/friend who also likes the outdoors, travel, France and is considerate and kind. I lived in France for 20 years in a rural situation near the Pyrenees, but circumstances brought me back to the UK ten years ago, and to Oxfordshire in particular. A part of me has adapted to life here but I still yearn for more space and often escape to the Chilterns for walks, my allotment to grow veges, or even further away if possible. I no longer work but in a previous life I''ve worked in therapeutic massage, counselling, been a farmer, and a boat crew, an english teacher, a secretary .... I have given up trying to change people/the world as it seems to have it''s own sense of direction but I just try and live my ideals without being too rigid. Feel it's important to give back in some way. What else - I''m divorced a few years ago with three grown up children and 3 grandchildren. I''m actually quite happy on my own but I miss warmth and friendship, laughter and hugs - definitely need to learn to trust again and think that now might be the right time. I certainly fancy doing a lot more travelling in the future but it is more fun a deux.
