I still can''t believe I''m the other side of 50. I''m active, energetic and quirky, widowed with 2 sweet children who keep me sane. I rediscovered cycling (alone or in company) in order to teach them to ride, and now have the good luck that my route to work takes me through Epping Forest.
I also enjoy folk dancing (especially Morris), international company, quiet pubs and restaurants, and films and TV programmes that make you think; but when I can''t find those I watch sport and comedy - "Have I Got News for You" is high on my list. I like to listen to 70s rock and folk, such as Pink Floyd, Fairport Convention, Joni Mitchell and some bands you''ve never heard of! I also listen to Radio 4 constantly - although since iPlayer came on the scene I can plan my listening a bit more. I like veggie food as I was brought up a vegetarian, although I''m now more omnivorous.
I would like to meet a woman of my generation for friendship, intimacy and sharing good times.
