Brought up in the Peak Distict, I love walking and, in fact, lead guided local history and Bronte-themed walks for a living. My favourite Bronte book is, not surprisingly, ''Wuthering Heights'', but don''t let that put you off! I''m NOT looking for a Heathcliff! I have always loved animals and live with two cats and an elderly dog, who also loves walking. I belong to the Green Party and used to be an active member of Friends of the Earth.
Another love is music and dancing - any kind of dancing, as long as it''s not ''Strictly'' which I detest! I have a fantasy of finding someone I can dance ''cheek to cheek'' with... I belong to a community choir and also like to sing folk songs, though my guitar playing is not brilliant.
I''m vegetarian and love good food - tho'' I''m not fond of cooking it! I''m naturally slim and don''t need to worry about my weight and all that rubbish! I like the occasional drink and traditional pubs.
I would like to meet someone who shares some of these interests with a view to a friendship or a long-term ''relationship''.
