I am a musician now settled back in Suffolk, near Bury St Edmunds. I have been a concert pianist, teacher, composer and community musician throughout my life, and erstwhile teller of musical stories....and singer of both ridiculously silly, and poignant songs!
I love enabling people to uncover their unique gifts to contribute to the Whole.
.My spirituality life is fundamental to my life, I love mystery and mysticism, and the thoughts of Douglas Harding. I am not religious, (despite being a former convent girl!) although great music in cathedrals designed for the human voice I find exhilarating and reduces me to tears!
I grow organic vegetables in a haphazard way, love reading, theatre,walking in countryside, mountains and by seas, and now teach more than perform, part-time.
I had 4 daughters, the eldest having died 9 yrs. ago, and although a very difficult journey, I believe the experience has enriched my view of Life.
I have 3 grandchildren and all my daughters presently live in London.
I am 5'' 7", a green-eyed, long dark brown-haired Saggittarian with Capricorn influences which balance organising with spontaneity and fun! (A Laurel & Hardy kind of life)
I love reading by a log fire, and enjoy eating and cooking healthy food.
I use alternative medicine, I meditate with Holosync CDs ( the cheat''s way, without uncomfortable postures.....) and use Tapping to help the way I deal with stress.
I love my life right now. All that's missing is a sharing of love and life with a man on a day-to day basis. After 27 years in Suffolk, then 7 in Hampshire, and believing I had no real roots I have recently found hitherto unknown ancient ancestors in and around Bury St Edmunds where I had lived for those 27 yrs! A gig back here last year made me decide to come back to live and I love it.
I believe humour and laughter absolutely essential to this mad life!
