WILD AND LONELY PLACES
I''m a quiet but friendly northerner who has the usual things - house, job and car but dislikes the hectic, strident aspects of urban living and would like to meet non-materialists anywhere who love the wild and lonely places.
Not as zealous as some on this site, but I''d like to think that I''m honest, relaxed, have a caring and sensitive nature and a sense of humour. I''m single, no offspring.
When not strolling around hills or coast, I enjoy the usual NF stuff - reading, ancient and historic sites, Victorian art, cinema and music - especially anything Celtic, tranquil, mystical. I''m also joint owner of a small rustic cottage in the mountains of Southern Spain, which I enjoy pottering around.
I work as a volunteer warden for the YHA now and then and Im a long standing bothy gangrel around the Highland & Islands. I love cornflowers, traditional pubs, hedgehogs, maple trees in autumn, rhododendrons in spring, starry skies and wood smoke in winter.
Was on here a couple of years ago but it was a difficult time with an elderly parent and couldnt follow up properly on messages; things are a bit different now so I thought Id have another try.
