Hello there.
I am very into growing my own veggies and keep chickens for eggs and would love to have some more live stock on my land.
I also have 6 bat boxes up but sadly, even with a moth lamp on every night, I still have no bats - next year maybe.
I had put some of my land over to Landshare this year and have shared my veggie plot with 5 others during the 2011 season which has been fun but sadly the growers all ended up having more pressing things to do so their plots ended up too weedy to allow me to continue so I stopped Landshare in 2012..
And, re the above, we didn''t touch a drop of mains water as I had a large rain water collection system set up.
And I also love cooking and eating and don''t say no to the odd glass of Chablis.
Singing is also there on the list of interests. I have had singing lessons and am thinking about joining a choir or some sort of singing group. I have had Salsa lessons too but have not danced for a while now but would love to start again.
I live in what could almost be described as a "small" smallholding with just over 3 acres of land. I had 40 chickens, 5 geese, 9 turkeys and 10 ducks last year but didn''t do it this year (2013) and I would love to meet someone that likes to know where their food comes from.
I work full time in IT for an American Bank in London but am fortunate in that I only travel to London once a week and work from home the other 4 days.
What am I looking for in a Lady ? - Goodness me - I don''t really have a list and I think that saying they must be this or they must be that often misses the point.
Honesty and self knowing are important and no unresolved past issues as at 55 I have none to get in the way of a relationship. I think the first exchanges of emails and photos will soon see whether there is any sort of click without listing loads of hard and fast requirements so if you are remotely interested in what you see then come and say Hi and we will see what happens.
With the right Lady I am romantic, passionate and tactile. I love being physically close but I also like my own space from time to time as I am sure most people do.
