HI - I think a warm smile and a twinkle in my eyes would be your first impression of me - friends might add that I am happy, fun to be with and perhaps quite an adventurer and traveller at heart!
I really enjoy being outdoors - cycling or walking and I belong to the NT, RSPB and my local Wildlife and Woodland Trusts. Walking to the top of a hill which is near to where I live for a sunrise breakfast is a special start to a day, listening to the skylarks or quietly watching deer in a field also makes my heart sing .. As well as being content on my own I also look forward to spending time with others and recently cycled along the Camel Trail with family and friends which was just as exciting, great fun and accompanied by lots of laughter.- a wonderful way to spend my birthday! A fire walk to come!
I am still working a little and volunteering, so when I sit down at home, I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction books, listening to music and gardening in a local community allotment. This autumn I have been discovering much more about foraging, and cooking new delicous recipes! I look forward to outings to the cinema, concerts, exhibitions or the theatre and exploring! Spirituality in various ways is very important to me and I know will continue to be throughout my life!
