Hi, I''m Lyn.
I''ve lived in Essex for the last ten years. Before that I was an East London girl. I love it here, and am grateful to have the countryside nearby, and still be able to get into London easily.
I work in education in East London, and am still working hard at the moment. I manage the Student Services department in a large college.
Outside of work I have all of the usual interests; cinema, theatre, countryside etc. I have a strong interest in personal and spiritual development, and I co-run a meditation group once a month. I am also involved in a companionship programme, and I go to a local Buddhist group. I have been on a few Buddhist meditation/gardening retreats. They are wonderful. All of this doesn''t mean that I am adverse to a glass of merlot in a country pub. I love sitting in the pub with a drink and a book or the Sunday papers ( and another person).
I enjoy reading, and am always picking up recommendations for new books. Continual learning is important for me.
Family is important to me, and I love my children very much.
In terms of what I am looking for, the first priority is someone where we both feel able to be open and able to be fully ourselves with each other. I would like to be able to share walks, cinema and other interests with someone, and if that developed into something deeper it would be wonderful.
