I have to admit to having a slightly contrary nature.....as well as being environmentaly conscious I also indulge in an exceptionally mad form of motorcycle sport......speedway!
I also have a 11 year old son, who stays with me sometimes, so he has to be my priority then (happy to share the load!)
I work a ''week on - week off'' rota - oh the joys of being a Chief Engineer on a ship (fast ferry at the moment, running St Malo to the Channel Islands - not been ''deep sea'' for a while)
One of the benefits of woodland ownership is the ready availability of wood - which is very useful as I enjoy woodworking, especially turning, either in the wood using a pole lathe or at home using a powered lathe - wood is so very sensuous.
Spiritual, not religious - there is a ''higher authority'' which we are part of and is very much part of us and is to be found in all of creation.
