I am happiest outdoors and love things like hiking, camping, climbing, freediving and sailing - although life is best when I also have my community, dance tribe, veggie garden, a quiet place to drink coffee in the sun, and time to read. I am open-minded, kind, adventurous and honest, prefer quality to quantity, and like to dig deep for the real treasure in life.

I am looking for someone who shares my love for nature, who lives with gratitude, and who knows that really meeting another means we also have to meet ourselves. And for someone who lives with joy, committed to explore, enjoy and steward this astonishingly beautiful life and planet we share.

I live in an ecovillage and intentional community - and that is a life choice that reflects a lot about me, my values and how I like to live. I came here because I wanted to experience what it is like when a collective dream of a different life more in tune with the rest of nature has materialised and turned into a place one can actually step into. A slice of a different reality created on purpose, with intention. I am curious about how humans create reality, about how community can be a tool of both personal and social transformation, and what it takes for freedom and community to be mutually reinforcing instead of opposites. I ended up writing half a PhD on those topics, a bit more fancily formulated and specific.

I am curious and love to learn, and one of my biggest curiosities is what it means to be human, in this life, on this planet - and what it means to do it well. I have travelled extensively since I was very young, and have lived in several and quite diverse countries - from Sweden (where I am from) to India, Scotland (where I live now) to the Amazon, big cities to blue-water sailing boats.

I am an anthropologist, so devoted quite a few years of academic study to understand the amazing diversity in how people live and think - and what is possible - researching everything from the rise of the new right in Sweden, to cosmology and social change in the Amazon, and ecovillages and localisation - Super exciting, but not enough (for me) without my own lived experience of alternatives, as well as deeper explorations and a continuous journey of self-discovery and inquiry.

I appreciate a good laugh and a sense of humour. I love dancing, have a soft spot for the silly and playful, can write love-poems to mountains and seas, and have pockets like a child's - meaning full of pretty stones, random bits of string, conkers and seashells. I love flowers and the smell of soap, read a lot of speculative fiction, go out of my way to expose myself to beauty, and am feeding a growing interest in myth, nature connection and initiation.

I like my relationship to be a stable core of homecoming and belonging at the centre of my life - a safe space of connection, passion, beauty and growth where we know we have each others' backs but also can venture out into the world and live our own independent lives.

I tend to be loyal and committed, and would like the same in a partner. For me, committment means showing up, also when it is hard. Treating the other with respect, valuing them, including them in plans, and making choices that feed and strengthen the connection. I believe that on some level, love is a choice I make every day - inside myself and in relation to the world and my partner.

I am also very idenpendent and need to have space for my own interests, time, friends, pursuits and travel. I am more than happy to give space for the same. For me, committment and independence are two sides of the same coin - with stronger committment and dedication, the ground of the relationship is stronger and can hold more independence.

I have a homeloving side, and an adventurous one - one that likes to decorate my home and grow flowers and veggies, and one that likes to sail across oceans, canyon, bivvy in the snow, climb mountains, and canoe across the Amazon. I don't always know how to balance the two, but do not thrive without both. I'd love a relationship that can hold both, and where I can share both. When I have ground below my feet, I can soar. When my roots grow stronger, my branches can spread and reach further. I would love a relationship where I can do both, and where we support, encourage and accompany each other to do so.

Honesty and authenticity are for me a baseline of true connection - internally as well as with others. For me, it takes courage to be authentic, and it takes working through my own conditioning and self judgement towards greater and greater self-love and compassion. I would love a relationship where that is a shared path.

And I would like to share joy, celebration and gratitude for life with my partner - in the small things and the big. For me, the world lights up when I am grateful and appreciative throughout my everyday life, as well as when I place myself in the way of awe and wonder through being outdoors. This is a source of happiness that I cultivate, and I would love to experience what life is like when we cultivate that together.
