I have lived in Spain almost nonstop since after the war, but consider myself bourgeois english with lots of garlic on top. I feel much younger than I look, and am eternally busy trying to breed the most beautiful and friendly dogs for other people to enjoy. I love most animals and Spain is a difficult country for them, specially now with the economic crisis. I get enormous pleasure out of music, food, reading, exchanging opinions on politics, surviving ones kids, recipes, commonsense solutions to everyday problems, laughing, a good film, managing a new mobil telephone which always seem much cleverer than I.
I really wish I´d married a gentleman farmer, but only managed 24 years with a Spaniard who died 22 years ago. I have one daughter who is making me a grandmother this spring. Sounds fun.Am curious to see who writes. Nothing too overpowering, please.
