I've just re-joined NF (March 2016).It took a long time to actually sign up for online dating initially but turned out to be worthwhile, however I'm on my own again now. I''ve been a widower for more than 14 years, have two grown up children not living at home and have retired from computer programming. I now teach yoga but only a couple of classes a week. I''m very fit and healthy, partly yoga, partly a history of walking, climbing, cycling and running on and off road. I still enjoy cycling and walking and scrambling in the mountains but Yoga is a major part of my life now. I''m a vegetarian and enjoy good food and a glass of wine or beer. I read novels, yoga books and books about science and psychology, some improving some less so. I watch more TV than I should and like to go to the cinema but preferably not alone which is the point really, most of the things I do would be improved if they were shared with a like minded woman. I''ve been interested in a sustainable lifestyle for a long time, I grow a few vegetables but not very expertly and struggle with mare''s tails in the veg patch.
I've just returned from a cycling trip to Sri Lanka(Feb 2016), a wonderful place and that's where the photo with the bike was taken.
My interest in walking really came back last summer and I did many long (20 -30 mile) walks in the Peak District and Lake District, choosing the good weather days
I can and do cook but again it would be much better shared. The photos are all taken in the last 3 or 4 years, the most recent being the cycling photo.
