It's a bit of a cliche but I really do work to live. I am teacher who works hard during the week but the weekends and any other time out is mine. I run and cycle to keep fit. I love the sea although I am a dreadful sailor. I enjoy cooking for friends and, having lived in S E Asia for 4 years, the menu is largely Thai or Vietnamese. I enjoy getting out in to the hills whenever I can. I enjoy the company of people who work hard but don't take themselves too seriously. People who are loud, rude or dependant on a mobile phone would not be very high on my list for dinner invites.
I have a pair of boots that need to be worn out - maybe you can help? If you enjoy seeing the sun come up whilst having your breakfast cooked for you then please drop me a line.
I get inspired by people who do extraordinary things. I'm not driven by the need for wealth or to accumulate 'stuff'. I don't do gaming and I've never seen an xbox although kids at school wonder how I could possibly live without one. I treasure random acts of kindness and small things that have been given to me by friends and family. I wear jeans and t-shirts most of the time but will eagerly put on a dinner suit. I'm not a good dancer but will happily hold your coat when you do. My accent is difficult to place although I come from the west country - someone once suggested that I do voice-overs. I have the perfect face for radio.
I am currently based on the edge of the Quantock hills in Somerset and enjoy running around or cycling up there.
