Well, here goes I am taking the plunge!
For a while, I have been busy just getting on with life.
Last year I celebrated my 50th Birthday. Rather than find it daunting I got on and organised a fantastic party and had a thoroughly excellent time, celebrating. I felt much loved by all my friends and family who contributed so much to making it so enjoyable. It kind of inspired me to be proactive in finding someone special for me again.
I have been told (and agree) that I have a positive and determined personality. I am also gentle, caring, and loving and can feel great empathy for others, particularly when they are struggling with the difficult stuff; life throws at all of us. In work and personal life I have found myself looking after others and get pleasure from doing so. But I do also know how to look after me.
In leisure time, I enjoy swimming, tai chi, singing in my local choir, learning to play the ukulele, occasional theatre, and music (all sorts) listening at home or at festivals such as Cambridge Folk.
I have a love and fascination for nature in all its awesome beauty, so enjoy being out and about and breathing in the glory of it all. I have a gorgeous dog, who I rescued, via the RSPCA. We love our walks, in our local Epping Forest and especially at the sea side. He just loves the waves. He would surf if he had a board!
I have for many years followed the green way of conserving energy and recycling etc. I am a non meat eater; I grow a few veggies and fruit (and make jam!). I aim to eat healthy with a daily indulgence! I make space and encourage wild life into my garden. Create it and they will come.
I am single, (obviously) and do not have any children. As far as the person, I hope to meet, I will know you, when I find you and look forward to doing just that.
