Well, where do I start? I was born a nature-loving person; very 'in tune' with my natural environment. I was brought up in a very rural farming community, on a farm, and considered it 'normal' that everyone appreciated and cared for their natural environment, grew their own produce, and were in tune with themselves/nature! I am off here tomorrow as it is not a good site but I am bjg2804 and am on the most well know site if you want to get in touch.
Having ventured out into the wider wilderness, I gained a university education up to Ph.D. but these achievements have never given me peace. I have found the University of Life and Mother Nature has taught me the most important things and give me peace and understanding of the world around me; and myself!
I am a spiritual person and intuitive. I belive in a 'God' but perhaps a hybrid of faiths, so to speak. I am my own faith, perhaps? Live and let live. Taught as a Christian, I also favour some Hindu, Sikh and Buddisht 'beliefs'. If it doesn't harm another, then why does it matter if we are different? It makes conversation more interesting! Surely, we all learn from each other.
I can be found walking in nature wherever I go ... love the woodlands with the bluebells, daffodils and snowdrops; love the coast and the beach with the dogs and children and try to show them that we have all we need in nature and life is not a competition. However, a formal education remains important in order to keep options open - not quite brave enough to stick two fingers up to the 'system' - although am not uknown to stick on up ... :)
Love all things natural - try not to consume too many chemicals and look to nature for any ailments I may get ... although do appreciate the wonders of the achievements in science and not foolish enough to think it doesn't play a valid and significant role. However, there are limits.
I would rather spend my time with a poor person who loves from the heart, than a rich one who is stressed and possibly mean. Taking care of nature, respecting her are very important to me. Both me and my children try and fund-raise for those less well off when we are able.
Richness comes from the soul :)
So, my soul mate would appreciate nature, be down-to-earth, 'intelligent', like and be able to get on with children - however annoying - like and respect animals and not be adverse to cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters and the fish .. err, thinks that about it! :) x
I have tried uploading some more photos but dont seem able to.
