I am a fifty-four year old man who is single and have no children. I live in Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire. I would like to meet a lady with whom I could talk to and maybe start a relationship.
My hobbies include gardening, creative writing, drawing, music and going to live events like gigs and theatre shows. I have had some success with writing poetry and short stories. I enter competitions and have been commended twice in Writers'' Forum magazine for poetry. I like most types of music, as long as it is good. I''m not up with the youth scene or rap and its offshoots. I like some pop, folk, rock and jazz music.
I like a pint of ale in a country (or city) pub, talking to friends. I also like being outdoors and I currently work at a botanic garden. I have in the past volunteered as a gardener for English Heritage at Audley End House & Gardens, Essex.
I am a friendly person who is open and approachable. I am solvent. I like helping others and can be a good listener. I have a degree in Biology. I would like to find someone who is caring and warm-hearted, and has compassion for people and animals.
I like travelling and have been to NZ, Oz, Europe, Iceland and NYC.
