I would describe myself as easy going ,confident, have a good sense of humour, get on well with people from different backgrounds, can talk about deep and meaningful issues as well as being good at social small talk, equally good at not taking life too seriously and just having fun. I am curious about life and find it easy to communicate my thoughts and feelings.
The most important qualities I am looking for in some one else are, compassion ,fun , some one who is easy going and at ease with themselves, sense of humour, reasonably stable but I not looking for perfection.
I enjoy reading, the last novel I read and enjoyed was ' a thousand splendid suns' , set in Afghanistan, but mostly I read more non fiction, including audio books while in the car, on the journey to and from work. I manage a local charity, I did my voluntary work overseas when I was a student which informed my future career choices in terms of the work I do now.I have trained as a counsellor and have delivered personal development and meditation workshops.
I typically spend my leisure time in nature walking, cinema, going out with family and friends. I enjoy foreign / art house, and good mainstream films and like a wide variety of music
I have become much more confident with age in all social settings but at the same time have developed more humility in terms of what I do and do not know about life , I have gained much from having genuinely supportive friends ,parents but also from some self help books and spiritual teachings on how to deal with lifes challenges, finally I do not have children but get on well with my nieces and nephews
