Hi I am an adventurous, kind and caring guy with strong family values still looking for that special person to share the rest of my life with. I am very grounded and value quality time with friends and family. I have joined this site in the hope that I might meet someone who can share my passion for the sea, travel, wildlife, natural history and the wild remote areas of our planet. I have a particular interest in birds, sea mammals and wildlife photography. Although I have a degree in Zoology I spent most of my working life in the building industry before changing direction in 2005 to get more involved with my interests. I live in South Cumbria but have recently renovated a croft house by the sea in the Western Isles which I now use for holidays and to let. I also have an eight year old daughter who currently lives with my ex near Plymouth but comes to me at half terms and for part of the school holidays.
I have many other and varied interests to numerous to list but I particular enjoy cooking and entertaining friends, walking, hiking, live music, country pubs, cinema, city breaks, Spanish Parradore Hotels and fresh seafood. I am also involved with the management of a very progressive rugby club.
