A pioneering people person who has made many changes in my life, changing from a 'townie' background to a country girl with wellies, livestock and all that used to go with running a smallholding! Now running a charity for people to do the same, and move on with their lives after suffering trauma. Also had a spell of working in the 'big smoke' working for a charity, although born in London only coped with living and working in London for four years as I was away with the job a lot to interesting places. I have a spirit of adventure, love to experience new places and cultures. Travelled right across Canada on my own, loved the Rockies, been to Cape Town, wonderful people, loved the winelands and safari. Been to the Carribean, loved the island of Tortola. Eqypt was amazing considering I hated history at school! Alaska, Iceland and New Zealand, Norway, are on my bucket list, also some lovely places in this country that are beautful like the Peak District in Derbyshire, The Hambledom hills (James Herriot country) The Helford River in Cormwall and many more still to discover, which would be lovely to share with the right special person. That special person needs to have a sense of humour (let's face it if we have to meet someone this way we need a sense of humour!). Someone who is a good listener, a warm hearted adventurous, sometimes spontaneous person. Loving and kind with his time and not afraid to admit when he has made a mistake, as I would too. Someone who knows himself and his 'little foibles' and can forgive mine! Is equally happy with "get up and go and just do it" as he is relaxing in front of a fire with a nice glass of red, and points out 'how it is such a starry starry night tonight" . Someone who has put the past behind him and ready for a new adventure.
