I'm retired and my main hobby is beekeeping, although the local U3A also takes up a lot of my time. I also write poetry and enjoy history. I love nature and have, for the last couple of years, done the RSPB Birdwatch and have just signed up for the National Plant Monitoring Scheme. My main reason for joining NF is to find one or more walking companions, male or female, to keep me company when exploring the Dorset countryside. We could even go further afield, eg the New Forest, the SW Coast Path etc. I'm open to ideas. If you'd like to learn beekeeping, you're welcome to lean over my shoulder when I play with mine!
