I feel part of the natural world and care deeply about the wellbeing of life on our beautiful planet.
I brought my training as a fine artist, teacher and conservation biologist into play in Madagascar. There, over a period of 20 years, I initiated two programmes to catalyse rainforest restoration and sustainable cultivation systems with multiple stakeholders. This was my passion.
Here in the UK, I find myself immersed in nurturing plants and wildlife in the garden and engaging in voluntary nature based actions.
Although a gentle and nurturing person, I have a spirit of adventure and am an
explorer at heart. Having spent more than a decade caring for my parents, I am now keen to get back out there, explore amazing places, perhaps the Peruvian rainforest, and live regeneratively, hopefully with kindred spirits.
