Life's hit some hard knocks but I still cherish the dream that my soul-mate is waiting for me. I'm happy, optimistic and open hearted. I love live performance and to dance, listen to and play music, run, walk, climb, ride, swim, practice yoga and meditation and read (Amy Tan, Paul Auster and Rupert Thomson current favorites)- more than anything I love my friends and my family. I'm independent and passionate, sensitive and kind. I can be strong minded (some would say stubborn) about the things I believe passionately about. I can be quiet and prefer to spend special time with people I love than hitting the high life. I enjoy creativity in all its forms and love the challenge of trying something new. I have at last got around to trying to learn to play the Saxophone - never too late! I have 4 children, all have now left home.. I know and love the Suffolk coastline and have spent many a happy summer day walking or camping around Warbleswick, Dunich etc. not to mention the fantastic drum and dance camps in that area. I work as a therapist in mental health - love it.
Who I'm looking for
I'm looking for someone to share a journey which has at its heart an ‘us' from which all else flows. I guess my ideal partner would be a bit unconventional, warm, loving, tactile, tolerant, people orientated, like music-maybe play themselves, dance, theatre, travelling, the great outdoors...they would rather walk in the wilds than go to the pub, dance in the moonlight than go clubbing, be in the country rather than a city, play sports rather than watch them. I am hoping to find someone who is still looking to have a few adventures and who can enjoy the simple things in life
