I make fire, make food, mend socks. Pretty good at pointing walls too......Right, here we go.... I'm self-employed and have been working in the field of antiques for the last fourteen years which I still do some of, but needing to diversify to earn that illusive commodity called 'money' I now do a lot of painting & decorating and gardening work etc, which suits my practical and creative side. I am a sensitive, funny, artistic home loving bird. My perfect day would be something along the lines of a good breakfast, a meander through my beloved Forest of Dean, more food, a bonfire, cook a good supper ( yes, I like food!) and share it in front of the log burner with interesting conversation, laughs and good music. I think all those traits, along with the petite stature, qualify me for being a hobbit although I don't have hairy feet!
I would like to meet someone who is comfortable in his own skin, a good sense of humour, practical / creative. Someone to share those simple moments of 'Oooh look at that moon!' or 'I reckon that curry needs a bit more chilli....' but is equally independant enough not to get in a huff if I fancy reading my book for a while - obviously I wouldn't bring it on a first meeting :). We all need our caves from time to time.
I am not an eco warrior but I do care passionately about the world we live in and what is happening to our planet. I may try and convert you to Ecotricity (if you don't already use them...) and don't get me started on Monsanto.......
And now I know why not everyone has uploaded a photo, you need a degree in photoshop to get the sizing right!
