I suppose I'm a dreamer, I have this idea of my perfect life but am rational enough to work towards it but not expect it. I am self-employed but money is not and never has been important to me, as long as I can pay my bills and put food on the table I am quite satisfied.

I am 50 years old, never wear make-up and am more than happy to look my age (but perhaps not to act it!).

My Passions

  • reading - favourite author is Terry Pratchett though my taste is eclectic
  • music - again an eclectic taste though folk, classical and rock are favourites
  • walking- I live near the sea and love to walk the cliffs but am equally at home in the hills and woods
  • dogs- love dogs, my old Scruff sadly died a year ago
  • crafts- am learning to spin and weave and would love a life where I had to make everything!
  • environmentalism/politics- nuff said
  • growing food- used to grow most of my own but new landlady not keen on me digging up the lawn!
  • bees- love bees, want bees
  • seasons- could never live anywhere that doesn't change all the time, I love weather all kinds of weather
  • my kids- 4 girls all grown up all homeschooled all doing great am very proud of each of them
