Hello, I have a good sense of humour and looking for friendship. I enjoy listening to stories, BBC rather than television. Enjoy domesic pursuits such as jamming and pickling. Love car boot sales and recylcling and teach textile arts at local community centre. Very concerned about the environment and animal welfare. Love animals and their personalities so am vegetarian.
Worked for many years as a storyteller with the Education Department and now illustrating part-time hence the picture of me telling at a friend's garden party. Spend a lot of time travelling to visit friends and doing artist residencies as they are a marvellous way of keeping up with people and ideas. Not able to walk as much but still enjoy the outdoors. Just come backf rom Latvia and Wales. I travel a fair bit and tend to live globally as have family in UK and Australia.
