A gentle soul, more at home in the green and serene than busy cities though like to explore places of character and historic interest. Am a member of and have volunteered for the National Trust which was great.
Take pleasure in the simple things...... a walk over the downs seeing harebells and orchids, early morning birdsong, lovely views, then back to tea and home made cake, or picking raspberries and runner beans. Enjoy conversation but like to have quiet times too, value friends and family, helping where I can. Like to read and like a wide range of music and enjoy a good film. Countryside and coast are where I''m happiest. Play some badminton, try and swim regularly, but like fresh air best of all.
Happy and settled in my job (books, singing, customer service) and enjoyed doing my gardening courses, still do some local work. Like to get out into my own garden to potter, prune and weed.... the world has gone dandelion mad!
Compassion, kindness, honesty and a healthy sense of humour are important to me and I offer the same in return. Have two great boys of 23 and 16 who are more independent now but keep me young (and in the driving seat!) And a lovely black and white cat. Am told I look younger than my years, hopefully you''ll agree!
