I am a gentle, thoughtful, intelligent and warm hearted woman who is looking for friendship, initially, and hoping to find a connection with the potential to deepen over time. Having retired from a career in education, I still work self employed on a part time basis for a couple of days a week because I truly enjoy it; although I also appreciate the extra time I now have to spend with myself, family and friends. It is great to have the flexibility to go away and visit, both in this country and abroad. I have a quiet personality, but the saying 'still waters run deep' is certainly true in my case. I am not tied to a particular area, but I am choosing to live in a rural location with Bristol and Cardiff almost equidistant, so I have the advantage of both city and country cultures and activities. This satisfies my love both of nature and of the arts. In appearance, I am slim with brown eyes and chestnut hair. I am told I am most definitely attractive, but I feel too shy to say more.... Meeting and getting to know another person feels, itself, an adventure, and I look forward to new possibilities opening before me.
