Hi, I''m recently single and living in Morecambe. I''m interested in spirituality, health & fitness, nature, and reading (mostly non-fiction). I have a cute dog who''s still young and boisterous - OK, he''s barky and bouncy, but we arrive as a package so it''s ''love me love my dog''.
My childhood was heavily influenced by the wombles (straight up!), and I have been ''green'' since the days when it just used to be a colour. I recycle pretty much most things, and do my best to save the planet. I''ve managed without a car for a few years now - I get around on foot, bike, and public transport. I''m an ethical vegetarian and a non-smoker.
As my profile is now beginning to make me sound a bit ''worthy'' I was dithering about whether or not to mention I don''t drink, but for the sake of those guys who are looking forward to sharing a bottle of wine in front of the fire I thought I''d better come clean. (I don''t mind other people drinking as long as I can dip out if the drunken conversation gets too mind-numbing for a sober person!)
I work in Morecambe as a self-employed yoga teacher/therapist, and in Lancaster employed by a national conservation charity. This results in me being pretty skint a lot of the time, so my pastimes are things that tend to be free or cheap - (dog) walking, birding, reading, watching DVDs - and I occasionally stretch to going to the pictures or for a cuppa with friends, but I do like to try out and learn new things. I tend to go through phases with various projects - my latest one is DIY.
My ''top holidays'' would be a yoga retreat or conservation volunteering, and in case you haven''t already guessed I''m a bit of a hippy.
I''m here because I''m looking for a single guy who is intelligent (I enjoy good conversations), friendly, non-smoker, and preferably vegetarian and local. Similarly, another eco-nut would be nice. Hence, Natural Friends - where else am I going to find that combination all in one person? Does this person even exist? Looking for friendship first, maybe romance later. Not looking for a fling (no judgement - just can''t be bothered with it).
I''m also happy to meet up with people of either sex to see if a friendship develops.
Oh, and don''t let my name put you off - it''s my nickname - I really ~am~ a heterosexual female!
