Hi, wouldn't it be great to share and care with another ethical, practical, light-hearted, deep thinker?
I am currently doing up a small clay lump cottage in Suffolk, planting another forest garden (my third), researching my second book, and enjoying the fantastic East Anglian landscape on my bike or in my hiking boots.
I'm not into TV or shopping or gossip. I meditate, do Qigong, go on regular retreats, cycle tour in exotic parts of the world on my own. As you can see, I don't do the heavy make-up thing but I do like to look as good as I can (all things considered). Certainly, I can brush up for an occasion but mostly I prefer to be comfy casual cool (I just made that up). I am very much a person of action; I prefer to 'do' rather than watch. I'm not into dramas, mind games or materialism. In fact, I think I'm very straightforward, but probably so independent as to be completely unemployable (although I have been tutoring in the Open University for over 25 years) but mainly I work for myself and am comfortable financially. I cannot do 9-5 and love my freedom.
I'm looking for a mindful relationship with someone who knows that their story is just a story and can be changed at any time. Physical attraction for me is based on engagement with the world; a practical or physically active man, like me. I have in the distant past been a research biologist so a love of science still hangs around but I have drifted into a much less academic life. I lead a simple but full life. I am not looking to rescue anyone with serious mental health problems or addictions, thanks all the same. But I do have a lot to offer a genuine man with a good heart and big hands.
I love a bit of skinny dipping but have no interest in taking tea and biscuits in the nude, thanks to all you naturists. A photo is absolutely essential (also, not naked). I find it alarming that some of the photos I see on here are the same ones I saw 15 years ago when I was last on this site (isn't that odd?).
If any of this is compatible...let's talk, meet up, go for a walk or just sit around a campfire...
