I really struggle with writing a profile and perhaps that in itself says something about me. I tend towards the quiet, reserved and thoughtful rather than the brash and bold.
In many respects I am an ordinary bloke, of average height, weight and looks, with an ordinary job, leading an ordinary life but my work colleagues think I am extraordinary as I am a strict vegan, a social naturist where and when appropriate and try to lead an ethically biased lifestyle without opting out entirely.
I am generally a fairly fit outdoors person and enjoy walking, cycling and tennis, wild places and the natural history of such places and am an active conservation volunteer when I have the time. I also enjoy yoga, photography, music of many genres, D.I.Y., making and mending things and socialising with friends.
I am generally happier when busy but do enjoy the occasional siesta in the sun.
I like to think I am open minded and tolerant. I am not really spiritual and generally avoid organised religion but have some empathy with pagan beliefs.
I read a little, always non-fiction, use the internet as an infinite library, listen to the radio a good deal but seldom watch television, only viewing some natural history programmes and the occasional documentary and comedy. I avoid TV and radio news whenever possible, despairing of its graphic and sensationalised coverage which I believe gives a horribly distorted view of the world.
I have been separated/ divorced for a couple of years now and would love to find a compatible companion with whom to share at least some part of my life.
