Not great at this but here we go. 
I’m 6 ft 2 ins slim build 12 stone.
Have lived in Australia and New Zealand many years ago when I was married with two young children. My son is married with one 2 year old son and live in Yorkshire.
My daughter and her family live in Adelaide Australia and was able visit them in 2013 for Christmas which was wonderful to see them all after being apart for so long.                                                                                    (You can’t have a hug on Skype can you ?)
In recent times I have lived in The Lakes, North Yorkshire and presently living in Portugal since 2009.
Having sold my lovely house last December in Penela central Portugal, I now rent an apartment in Tomar while awaiting my next move to Spain, UK or wherever life takes me.
Got to say though I do prefer the sunnier climes. Love UK but not the cold damp winters but then who knows. Watch this space..
I’m a quiet person until I get to know people when I can be more outgoing and very sociable.
Tend to be left of centre in political terms.
I like to think I’m a gentle person with a firm dislike of rudeness, bad manners and cruelty.
Miss that special person to share life’s adventures with and sharing a relaxing evening meal with candles and soft music.
I’m also a tactile person which is important to me
Music choices many and varied from rock to classical. and anywhere in between.
Love to cook and try to keep to a healthy life style avoiding convenience foods and walk regularly. Having lived in The Lakes one has to walk to see its grandeur and beauty. I like being out in the hills and countryside be it wet and wild or sunny and warm.
I have a love of making and improving things. Having refurbished six properties, three for family and relatives.
Do some woodwork and photography.
Love to travel but would be much nicer shared with a someone special.
Just to add, I am a flexible and accommodating person easily inspired by other people’s ideas just in case the above sounds like a check list….
