Hello and welcome to my page. Now for the tricky and interesting part. Tricky as I am no wordsmith and with a little dyslexia thrown in for good measure this might make interesting reading.
I would describe myself as quietly confident, warm and friendly, a practical man with a creative edge. Someone who could build a shelter and make a fire, but expect a few leaks if it rains. Talking of which, I love the sound of rain pattering on a roof. I have done many things from working as a landscape gardener to a Shiatsu practitioner. I have also kept bees for a number of years, finding my true path to nature through working with and studying these wonderful creatures. I also love the honey they produce and have made some excellent mead by it.
My other joy in life is to dance. Anything from circle dance to five rhythms, currently dancing in a Morris side. I sometimes think of myself as the introspective peacock here.
I have now come to a point in my life where I am steadily planning a life change from living in bricks and mortar to steel wood and water, cruising on the cut in a fifty seven-foot narrowboat traveling on some of the two thousand miles of inland waters that spread across the UK. Taking in the sights and culture of village town and city, mooring in quiet places where the only street lights are the stars in the night sky, with plenty of adventure on the way. Hoping that someone might like to share that adventure with me perhaps. So if any of this resonates I would love to here from you.
