I am a quiet and spiritually minded lady, living in a beautiful green valley in mid Wales. My children are grown and flown with children of their own. So I have no ties (not even animals) and little baggage. I am not stuck here but willing to move on if the right opportunity arises. The world is my oyster - and I am willing to embrace something good, which may reveal itself, just around the corner.
I hope to find a genuine and kindly partner who is seeking a relationship. I would prefer someone who embraces spirituality and nature and has his own all absorbing interest and some to share. It would be someone who can communicate - and is not scared of getting to know me.

My interests include spinning. knitting amd weaving, the natural world, permaculture/gardening, reading, attempting to play music and many others. I have a piano, an accordion and a fiddle although the fiddle has got a touch dusty and squeaky. I think it could be revived!
I also enjoy walking and camping. I try to grow my own food although the climate and soil here make it difficult. I have been rewarded this past summer and am still eating the produce.
I have had an interesting life so far with unusual opportunities. I''ve made violins, kept bees and have travelled independently. I would like to repeat my New Zealand visit and maybe explore some new places, perhaps with a companion - ten years ago I lived in an old van for several months in NZ and loved it. What a beautiful place that is.
I attend my local Quaker meeting which is important to me although I am not religious and I have many friends amongst the group. I also belong to the Spinners and Weavers Guild where I have more friends. I try to fill my life with my hobbies but I would love to share the company of a likeminded partner for a monogomous relationship. Friendship would also be good and it is obviously the place to begin. It would be lovely to share the winter evenings in front of a wood stove or fire and to explore during summertime. There''s nothing quite like brewing up around an open fire and cooking a meal on it.
I am genuine and homely and don''t smoke or drink. I am careful with money and try to live a simple low impact lifestyle. I am considering living in community as I would enjoy the company of other like minded people. So if I remain living alone it''s what I will probably do. Although I have a beautiful home, there''s something missing! We all need other folk around us to share life, talk with and eat with. Our world is changing rapidly and maybe drastically, so let''s be optimistic and look forward to a better way to be. We need to share resources and not to grab all for ourselves in the West. So the New Age may include owning less and sharing more.
