Born in a country village on a small holding and spent time on farms as a kid. Living in town again now when in England but still a country bumpkin at heart who lived in London to get some dosh for awhile. I however spend as much time as possible in my garden here or France or out walking with the dogs . I have also been out with ramblers a few times which is much more fun than I thought --one sees beautiful backwaters that one might not otherwise know are there.
I think I'm in touch with my feminine side , my best friends are mostly women. Like Otis Reading I like to-- "Try a little Tenderness."
Other hobbies --cooking--not so much a hobby as a necessity as I love food and good wine. Usually fish , stir fries, Asian or Italian.
I pretend I cycle more than I do but still do a few miles a week if only to the shops--love reading, movies, more books and I am trying to write a semi autobiographical novel'ish book.Yeah I know a bitof a cliché perhaps but some people seem to like hearing about French life and culture.
I also enjoy dinghy sailing--used to race and teach .
I am a slim fit, a philosophy (der?) graduate and am looking for friendship first.
