I guess I’m interested in life in general and inquisitive about almost everything. Very much a free thinker I have a particular passion for wildlife/environmental photography/writing, wildlife gardening and painting, mainly illustrations from my own images. A few years ago my daughter discovered a fossilised Sharks tooth on a local beach which sparked a wider interest in both of us, so now I often go fossil-hunting too! Besides, scouring beaches and cliffs is a great way to relax the mind.
I enjoy live music and some of the less commercial music festivals – WOMAD being my favourite. I enjoy good movies, interesting pubs and restaurants, cooking and artisan beers.
I enjoy the odd forage and often cook what I've collected with varying degrees of success, and I love walking the woods and downs where I live, especially in late spring where it's easy to lose yourself among the wild orchids, birdsong and butterflies.
I guess everything creative and 'eco' floats my boat really. In fact I would like to design and build my own eco-house with the ultimate aim of living a more peaceful, harmonious and sustainable life.
I hope I don't give the impression that I'm some tree hugging hippy. I'm not. I enjoy dressing in nice clothes and I believe modern life has many virtues. I hold Humanist values and I believe that we humans should be a force for good. We should look after our planet and all its inhabitants; it saddens me that we continually bite the hand that feeds us. After all, without mother earth where would we all be!
Being a Naturalist/Photographer I've travelled a bit and it would be fantastic to share my future experiences with a kindred spirit. Someone I’m in tune with I guess.
I'm adventurous, warm hearted, intuitive, and told that I’m a good listener, kind, honest and loyal. I'm also a good friend and father. I look after myself physically and i'm pretty much the same size as when I was 18! 
I enjoy lively and thought provoking conversation and the company of interesting people whatever their views. I’m generous of spirit, with a naturally happy disposition, a keen sense of humour, and a positive and forward thinking outlook.
