Oh eek, where to start?
I'm Meg and I live in Glasgow, Scotland though my dream would be to live in a wee cottage in the country within a thriving, positive community and I'd have dogs, cats, chickens and bees. Meanwhile back in the real world, I actually like where I live and am grateful for my home, family, friends and work. I have a great job - I teach at a university and have done for 30 years - I know, I don't look old enough! :-)
I'm thinking about a change in terms of work. I'm actually studying interfaith ministry this year and next because I'm looking for something a little more fulfilling than what I'm doing now. I have no idea where this will take me but I am trusting the process and I know that I'm where I'm meant to be just now. If it takes me to that wee cottage where I can minister to the community while making a contribution to the wider world then that would be great.
I am spiritual, not religious, and have no interest in imposing my views on anyone else though it would be lovely to meet someone with whom I can discuss such things if that was of interest to them.
I'm friendly, open, authentic, warm, relatively bright and very loving and I can be funny (ha ha, not peculiar). I am still good friends with my 2 main exes which I think says something for me. They can provide references if necessary! :-)
I love nature and try to escape the city whenever I can. For 10 years, I spent every weekend and holiday in a motor home on the shores of Loch Lomond and I really miss that regular close connection with nature. I have a 21 y/o son who lives with me some of the time, I am a veggie tho haven't yet mastered veganism and in my spare time I enjoy reading, walking, volunteering, spending time with friends, travelling and going to the gym - though I'm very much a work in progress!
I think that's enough about me for now. If anything about me resonates with you then please say hello and if not then I wish you luck in your search for friendship/ romance.
Meg x
