I am a gentle, sensitive, feminine woman who is looking for someone with whom I can have an honest, caring and loving relationship.
I have worked as an adult education tutor (English) but for the last twelve years I have worked for several charities, helping older people and with people with various disabilities to access services and lead fulfilling lives.
I am very fond of animals and have two dogs which I enjoy walking in the lovely Suffolk countryside surrounding my home.
I share care of my daughter with my ex husband whom she stays with every weekend and half the school holidays. She is a lovely girl who I am very proud of as she is kind-hearted with lots of friends - also she is doing well at school.
I suppose I value kindness and compassion as the most important qualities of a potential partner - although I am not a Buddhist I am very interested in their ethics, particularly their principle of loving-kindness towards all beings (although I am not always successful in achieving this).
I enjoy visiting places of historical interest, the theatre (comedies or serious drama rather than muscials) and cinema (Ipswich Film Theatre rather than Cineworld). I would also like to learn salsa dancing and practise meditation and Reiki Healing.
