I am a happy 68 years young retired academic I in search of new life-enhancing experiences. I've been told I'm gentle, kind, warm, energetic, articulate and unpretentious. I speak fluent Italian and passable French. I'm slim with a petite frame and love cooking and enjoying good food with fine wine - especially in sunny places. I am sometimes annoyed by some symptoms of Parkinsonism but these tend to diminish when I feel happy, free and positive about life. I am nourished by walking, reading and cinema and creative writing. I'm easily won over by friendly people with developed and open minds and preferably a lively sense of humour! Am seeking a bon viveur with whom to vivre, befriend or with whom just to enjoy life a little more.
