Please note two of the photo''s of me are on top of Helvellyn in 2011; it was rather windy plus I didn''t really plan to climb so far...I''ve got a more flattering pic of me that I could e-mail you (can''t seem to upload it) so don''t be put off! I''m an open, friendly sort of person; being natural is very important to me. Ideally I''m looking for a long term partner/relationship but let's see how we get on first; friendship is the most important thing.
I'm nearly vegetarian and sometimes even vegan but I don't rule out fish! In the long term I'd like to move either to a smaller town or perhaps back to Cardiff, tho' I think I've had enough of city life really. It's too noisy/too much traffic and I also love getting out into nature... I love music and dance sometimes as well. Also do a bit of yoga. I try not to get too het-up about the fact that I'm unemployed but I do seem to spend quite a bit of time on my voluntary work of one sort & another! Whilst trying to find a job as well.
I love reading the Guardian for a treat; also love falling asleep on train journeys...I love to travel, in fact and would love to go back to Nepal or perhaps go to India, next winter? If I could find a travelling companion it would be even better! Also love the Greek islands although I have to cover up in the sun now as my skin suffers. The Lake District, Ireland and Scotland are some more places that I'd love to explore some more. I wouldn't mind camping even and love real fires.
Well if you think we've got something in common, get in touch! I don't have a car so I'm limited to public transport, or lifts (or cycling in good weather..but not REALLY long distance!). I'm looking for someone of similar age and not too tall! 6 foot would be the absolute maximum. Also it would help a lot if you lived within 50 -100 miles of Swansea! i.e. anywhere in South or mid-Wales, the border counties or perhaps Avon, or the West Midlands.
My elderly parents live in Snowdonia so I would always consider moving "back north"...I love mountains, did I say that? As well as outdoor swimming, weather permitting! I like cats, but not so keen on dogs although that could change I guess...Do you ever listen to "Late Junction" on Radio 3 or enjoy some radio 4 humour e.g. Jeremy Hardy, Lee Mack & Rory Bremner? Altho' I do find Radio 4 a bit "middle of the road"; I enjoy it usually except for the boring bits.
