Privacy Statement

At Natural Friends Ltd, hereby known as 'the Company', we have created this Privacy Statement to demonstrate our commitment to protecting your privacy and to inform you about how we handle your personal information.

This Privacy Statement only applies to transactions and activities in which you engage, and data gathered on the Company’s website, hereby known as ‘the Site’, and any other partner website to whom we may link, but does not apply to any other website or offline point of contact between the Company, or any other company, and consumers.

This is a legal document, which sets out how the Company handles and stores data that identifies you. You should read it in conjunction with our Terms of use and Safety Tips, of which this Privacy Statement forms part. Please review this Privacy Statement periodically as we will modify it from time to time. Each time you visit the Site and provide us with information, by doing so you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Statement at that time.

Please be aware that Natural Friends Ltd is not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. We encourage our users to be aware that when they leave our Site they read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Statement refers solely to information collected by our website.

Data Protection

All information obtained from our members is treated in the strictest confidence and held in accordance with the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003. Natural Friends Ltd is registered with the UK Registrar of Data Protection under number A8557490.

Your IP Address

Like most E-commerce Websites, each time you visit the Site, we automatically collect your IP Address on the web page from which you came. In order to administer and optimise the Site for you and to diagnose problems with the Site, we use your IP Address to help identify you and to gather broad demographic information about you.

Information we collect from you

Natural Friends Ltd only requests information that it is necessary in order for us to fulfil our obligations to you in providing the service for which you have subscribed and providing introductions to other interested members. We require visitors to the Site, that register as a member, to provide us contact information (including their name, phone and email address) and demographic information (like their age, height, postcode) to become a member. We then use this information to contact the member when necessary for support or to respond to their emails. In this way, to protect your privacy, the Company acts as a gateway for all messages, so your email address is never revealed and other members can only see the member name you have chosen. Thus, this is a private email system, which allows you to communicate without having to give your email address to others. The personal profiles that are posted on the Site are available to all visitors to the Site and not just members.

We ask that you do not enter personal information or financial information in your "Profile" (for example, don’t use your address as your member name, or include your name or address in your "About You" section) because if you do then it may be posted publicly on the Site and the information will then be treated as "demographic information" that is "Public Information".

Information other Sites collect from you

On the Site, we may place links to other websites operated by other parties, which we consider being of interest to our members. When you click on these links and visit other websites, regardless of whether or not they contain our brand-name, or other references to us, you need to be aware that we do not control these websites or their businesses, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to these websites. Hence, they may collect other information from you and we encourage you to review their individual Privacy Policies.

How do we use your Personal Information?

Information we collect from you on registration and during your membership of the Site is only used for administrative purposes and to provide you with the Natural Friends Ltd dating and friendship service. By submitting this information you are expressly agreeing to us processing that information in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Please remember that due to the nature of the membership of the Site, any information that is disclosed to the Company can become public information except in the case of the guarantees of privacy set out below in relation to payment.

We use the information provided by you in order to offer you the service for which you have subscribed. We use your email information and other personal information to operate this Site efficiently and to contact you in relation to your transactions, to forward messages to/from you and to/from other members, and to inform you of what is happening on the Site.

Disclosure of Your Personal Information

The Company does not divulge any personal information to any other person or party unless previous consent has been given. Please note all or parts of your profile and/or username may be used on our social media pages for marketing purposes.

We will not sell, lend, hire or use for any purpose, other than as part of our dating and friendship website, members’ personal details (e.g. addresses, telephone number, email addresses).

The Company does not disclose, give, sell or transfer any information about its visitors or members for commercial reasons.

Nor will the Company disclose your private data to third parties without your consent, except to provide certain statistical information on a bulk basis, which will not identify you personally as an individual. By ticking the "I Agree to the Terms and Conditions " check box when you join as a member, you give your unconditional consent to the Company disclosing your personal  information as mentioned above.

The Company does not send out unsolicited marketing materials.
